Tannenomori Okojo Ski Area trail map
Tannenomori Okojo Ski Area is a small slope at Ichinose in the central part of Shiga Kogen, made for gentle skiing through the forest. One quad lift serves a single 500 m run of at most 12 degrees, laid out among natural stands of hemlock and birch, so you can weave between the trees at an easy pace. It is billed as the place in Shiga Kogen where you feel closest to nature, and from the top you can ski across to Takamagahara. Tickets are sold at the neighbouring Ichinose Family or Takamagahara counters, and both the Shiga Kogen all-mountain and Central Area passes are valid.
