Ichinose Diamond Ski Area trail map
Ichinose Diamond sits on the slopes of Mt. Ōmatsu in the Ichinose district of Shiga Kogen, facing the Ichinose Family area across the small valley village of hotels. Its broad, open slopes with good visibility make it popular with intermediate skiers and families. Two lifts, a pair and a quad, serve the area; a short pair lift links to the Family area, and the slope is a key junction on the routes towards Yakebitaiyama and Okushiga Kogen. It is covered by the Shiga Kogen central-area and all-mountain passes, and its base above 1,600 m keeps the snow reliable.
