Sky Valley Ski Resort trail map
Sky Valley is a ski area in the Muraoka district of Kami Town, northern Hyogo, about two hours by car from Osaka and Kobe. One lift ticket also covers the neighbouring Hyper Bowl Tohachi, and linking the summit runs with the long return trail gives a cruise of about 3.2 km. Terrain ranges from the 32-degree, mogul-studded Eagle course to intermediate main slopes, a board park with a halfpipe and a netted kids' snow area. The ski centre stays open 24 hours with a nap room, which suits skiers who drive through the night and ride from the first lift.
