Wakasugi Kogen Ohya Ski trail map
Wakasugi Kogen Ohya Ski is a family ski area on the Wakasugi plateau in Oya, Yabu, Hyogo, where lift passes for children of junior-high age and under are very cheap on any day. A covered beginner conveyor, a sledding zone and a snow-play area make it an easy first visit for small children. The signature run, Oyakomichi, winds about 900 m through the forest, while the main slopes reach 30 degrees and include mogul terrain for stronger skiers. There is an on-site half-open-air bath and log cabins, and the drive from the Kansai area takes about two and a half hours.
