Shirogane Ski Highland Park Hill Valley, also called Shirogane Park Hill Valley, is a small ski hill at Shirogane Onsen in Biei, at the foot of Mt. Tokachi. A single pair lift served three runs over about 100 m of vertical, the longest 850 m, ranging from beginner slopes to a 32-degree pitch, with night skiing on some days. Its draw was its position right next to the hot-spring hotels, so a day on the slope could end in an onsen. It has been suspended since the 2011-12 season; the lift and buildings are still standing, but no reopening has been announced. The Blue Pond and Shirahige Falls are nearby.
