Sahoro Resort Ski Area trail map
Sahoro spreads over Mt. Sahoro above the Tokachi Plain in central Hokkaido and is best known as a stay-and-ski resort, with the Sahoro Resort Hotel and a Club Med at the base. A gondola and eight chairlifts serve 21 runs, from wide, gentle cruisers on the south face to pitches of up to 39 degrees and the ungroomed N courses on the north face, with a longest run of about 3 km. A beginners' park with covered snow escalators and a ski school suit families. The season runs from December to early April; it is about an hour by car from Obihiro, and hotel guests can ride shuttles from JR Shintoku Station and two airports.
