Iizuna Ski Resort trail map
Iizuna Ski Resort sits on the eastern foot of Mt. Iizuna about 30 minutes by car from central Nagano. Lift tickets cost the same on weekends, and night skiing comes with views over the lights of Nagano. Fifteen runs spread over 600 m of vertical, including a 2.5 km cruiser, a 100 m wide groomed face, ungroomed mogul and powder runs near the top, and on clear days a view as far as Mt. Fuji. Indoor and outdoor kids' parks make it a home hill for local families.
