Mt. Yosakudake

Yosakudake (1,932.9 m), also called Matsuiwa-Takayama, is a peak on the Keizuruyama ridge inside Oze National Park, at the boundary between Katashina Village in Gunma Prefecture and Uonuma City in Niigata Prefecture. It is climbed as a waypoint on the residual-snow approach to Keizuruyama (2,004 m). Keizuruyama itself has no formal trail and access is restricted year-round by the landowner (Oze Forestry), so visits are limited to the late-snow season when residual snow protects the alpine vegetation.
