Manaitagura (2,346 m) is in Hinoemata Village, Minamiaizu District, Fukushima Prefecture. It is the second-highest of the five peaks near the crater of Hiuchigatake, after Shibayasugura. Its summit has the second-class triangulation point “Hiuchidake.” Viewed from Lake Ozenuma, it is the northern of the prominent twin peaks with Shibayasugura. The Choei Shindo trail climbs from the lake’s northern shore. In Oze National Park’s special protection zone, the summit overlooks Ozenuma and the Nikko mountains.
