Mount Ko-Shibutsu (Koshibutsu-san) is a 2,162 m subsidiary summit within Oze National Park, straddling the border of Katashina Village and Minakami Town in Gunma Prefecture, and rising as a satellite peak southeast of Mount Shibutsu (2,228 m), one of Japan's Hundred Famous Mountains. It sits on the standard ridge route from Hatomachi Pass to the main summit, where alpine plant communities thrive on the area's distinctive serpentinite bedrock. The summit affords sweeping views of the Ozegahara marshland and the main Shibutsu massif, and is featured in lists including the "Tokyo-Area 350 Mountains" and "Mountains over 2000 m."
