Sengenrei is a 903 m peak in central Hinohara Village, Nishitama District, Tokyo, on the Sengen-one ridge separating the Kita-Akigawa and Minami-Akigawa valleys. The ridge served as a section of the Edo-era Kōshū-naka-michi old highway carrying charcoal, rice and salt; the mountain takes its name from the Sengen Shrine on its summit. The observation deck commands a panorama of Mt. Fuji and the Gozensan, Ōtake and Daibosatsu ranges. A popular 11.5 km, 4.5-hour traverse from the Sengen-one trailhead at Kazuma to Hossawa Falls. The peak is included in many lists, including Kantō Hyakumeizan and Tokyo Hyakumeizan.
