A 1,077 m cone-shaped peak in Ome City, Tokyo, within Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park, on whose summit stands Ogunasha — the inner shrine ('Oku-no-In') of Musashi Mitake Shrine, dedicated to Yamato Takeru. Because the actual shrine is difficult to reach, the main precinct provides a remote 'Okunoin' worship platform. The peak forms a key step on the ridge from the Mitake cable car summit toward Mt. Nabewari and Mt. Otake, ringed by white azalea in mid-May, and is counted in regional lists such as 'Otama 30' and 'Tama 100.'
