Mt. Sanpougamine

Sanpōgamine is a 2,040.1 m peak in Tōmi City, Nagano Prefecture, on the western part of the Takamine Highland along the Yu-no-maru–Takamine forest road, ringing the Ike-no-taira high moor. Paired with the slightly higher Miharashidake (2,095 m), the ridge is celebrated as one of the area's premier flower mountains — komakusa (Dicentra peregrina) and other alpine plants bloom in summer — and the loop is short and easy from the Jizō-tōge or Ike-no-taira trailheads. The peak lies within Jōshin'etsu-Kōgen National Park and appears in many regional lists including the "Shinshū Furusato 120" and "Kantō no Meizan Best 100".
