Mt. Mitsumine is an 1,888 m peak straddling Matsumoto, Nagawa, and Shimosuwa in Nagano Prefecture, set on the Venus Line ridge connecting Utsukushi-ga-hara and Kirigamine. From its grassy summit within Yatsugatake-Chūshin-Kōgen Quasi-National Park, the views take in the Northern, Central, and Southern Alps, Mt. Yatsugatake, and Mt. Fuji. It lies on Courses 6 and 7 of the Matsumoto-City-maintained Utsukushi-ga-hara Plateau Long Trail, and is featured in Chūōsen kara Mieru Yama and Shinshū Yama-aruki Chizu Satoyama-hen (Chūshin/Nanshin).
