Mount Washigamine (1,798.3 m) rises in Shimosuwa Town (Suwa District), Nagano Prefecture, at the western edge of the Kirigamine Plateau just north of the Yashima wetland. Within Yatsugatake-Chushin-Kogen Quasi-National Park, the peak is reached via a maintained traverse from Yashima through the summit to Wada Pass. Lemon lilies and false hellebores bloom in the wetland, and from the top the Suwa Lake basin and the Yatsugatake range come into view. The mountain is included in the Shinshu Furusato 120 and the 50 Flower Mountains.
