A 2,826 m peak on the boundary of Agematsu and Kiso towns in Nagano Prefecture, standing about 0.8 km west of the main summit of Mt. Kiso-Komagatake in the Central Alps (Kiso Mountains). It serves as a forepeak separated from the main summit by the Tamanokubo saddle and the 9th-station Tamanokubo Sansō hut, and is traversed by climbing routes from the Kiso side (Agematsu A and Fukushima B courses) within Chūō Alps Quasi-National Park.
