頂上木曽小屋

2,907 m · Agematsu, Nagano · 0.6 km from the summit of Mt. Nakadake

Mountain hut at about 2,900m just below the summit of Kiso-Komagatake on the Kiso side of the Central Alps. The top is five minutes away on foot, and from inside the hut the view runs from Hokendake and Utsugidake to Enasan, with the sun setting behind Ontake. The shortest approach is roughly 2 hours on foot from Senjojiki Station on the Komagatake Ropeway, while the older Kiso-side trails from Agematsu and Fukushima also converge here. Komakusa, kuroyuri and chishimagikyo grow around the hut. It sleeps 100 by reservation and serves either two meals or room-only stays in a quiet, homely atmosphere.
