Mountain hut at about 2,870m on Norikoshi-jodo, roughly 100m below and north of Hokendake in the Central Alps. It is about 40 minutes' climb from Senjojiki Station on the Komagatake Ropeway, with Kiso-Komagatake 50 minutes away and Hokendake 30, which puts it at the hub of walking in the range. Administratively in Miyada Village, Nagano, it is run by Miyada Kanko Kaihatsu along with Tengu-so and Chojo Sanso. The site looks out over the Southern Alps and Yatsugatake; the ground-floor dining room serves soba, curry and soft ice cream, with a well-stocked shop and takeaway counter, and there are 12 guest rooms upstairs for about 100 people. The season runs from early April to early November, and the hut also opens over the New Year by reservation. A reservation-only campsite for about 20 tents lies on its north side.
