Ikeyama is a 1,773.8 m peak in Komagane City, Nagano Prefecture — a foothill of Mt. Utsugi (2,864 m) in the Central Alps, sitting along the Ikeyama-one Ridge that drops eastward from the main range. The name derives from a pond once formed in a hollow on the slope, the area having served as summer pasture for cattle and horses from the late Meiji through early Shōwa eras. The summit offers wide views of the Central Alps' main ridge and the Southern Alps, and is reached in roughly four to five hours round-trip from Komagatake Kōgen Ski Area.
