Mount Yotsuzuka

Mount Yotsuzuka is a 2,519.5 m peak in Hakusan National Park, Hakusan City, Ishikawa, on the northwestern ridge of the Hakusan massif. It is a key point on the historic Kaga Zenjodo pilgrimage route from Ichirino Onsen via Nagakurayama and the Tenchimuro ruins to Hakusan Murodo. Cairns and a legend of magical cats sealed beneath them preserve its mountain-worship heritage. Alpine plants, including Hakusan primroses and Aleutian avens, grow abundantly between it and Mount Nanakura.
