Itoshiro Charlotte Town was a ski area in the Itoshiro district of Shirotori, Gujo, deep in Okumino, one of the snowiest parts of Gifu. In the Showa era it was a simple local hill called Itoshiro Ski Area with a single chairlift. It was later rebuilt as a resort with a large centre house containing shops and restaurants. The long, wide slope offered gentle to steep runs, moguls, terrain parks and a halfpipe, along with a nursery for families. The resort has been closed for business since the 2010-11 season.
