Washigatake spreads over the western face of Mt. Washi in Takasu, Gujo, Gifu, just three minutes from the Takasu IC on the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway, which makes it a popular day trip from Nagoya and the Kansai region. Most of its 13 runs are intermediate, from a wide main slope to tree-lined trails and mogul-prone advanced pitches, with a longest run of about 3.5 km. There are terrain and kids' parks, early-morning and night skiing, and all-night skiing on Saturdays in February. At the top it links with neighbouring White Pia Takasu on a shared ticket, and a hotel and the Washi-no-Yu bath sit at the base.
