Whitepia Takasu trail map
Whitepia Takasu spreads over the north face of Mt. Washigatake in Gujo, Gifu, and is known for opening early, in late November, thanks to a slope covered with crushed ice. Views reach the Hakusan range, and two quads and two pair lifts serve runs from easy to steep that fan down to one base. There are three mogul courses graded by difficulty, a freestyle park and play areas for children, and a joint Washitopia ticket links it at the top with neighbouring Washigatake. The centre house has lodging and a large bath, and early-morning lifts run on weekends. It is close to the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway, making it an easy day trip from Nagoya.
