Gujo Vacance Village Ski Area is a small slope attached to the Gujo Vacance Village Hotel at about 1,100 m on the Hirugano plateau in Takasu, Gujo, Gifu. Two pair lifts serve three gentle runs averaging 11 degrees and no steeper than 18, which suits beginners, families and school ski trips. Most skiers are hotel guests, so it stays quiet compared with the big Takasu resorts nearby. Snowmaking helps it run from late December to mid-March, and there are lessons for children in skiing and snowboarding. It is about five minutes by car from the Hirugano Kogen SA smart interchange on the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway.
