At 2,601 m, Mount Kita-Okusenjodake in Yamanashi City is the highest peak of the Okuchichibu Mountains and lies within Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park. It is reached on a short ridge walk from Ōdarumi Pass alongside neighboring Mt. Kokushi, with sweeping views over Mt. Fuji, the Southern Alps, the Yatsugatake range, and Kinpu.
