This compact high-mountain hike starts at Oodarumi Pass, passes Oodarumi Lodge and Maekokushidake, visits Kokushigatake, and branches to Kita-okusenjo-dake, the highest summit in the Okuchichibu Mountains. Boardwalks and steps ease the ascent, with views toward Mount Fuji and the Kofu Basin from Kokushigatake and toward Kinpusan and the Yatsugatake range from Kita-okusenjo-dake.
