Mount Kimen

Mount Kimen is a 1,482 m peak on the border of Fukushima City and Inawashiro, the northernmost summit of the Adatara range, within Bandai-Asahi National Park. Its name ('demon face') is attributed to the sheer cliffs on its northern and eastern faces. The Noji and Shin-Noji hot springs of the Tsuchiyutōge spa area at its northwestern foot serve as trailheads, with an easy roughly 90-minute climb to the summit; it also marks the start of the traverse toward Minowayama and Adatara.
