Yuzawa Family Ski Area Closed

Yuzawa Family was a small ski area south-east of central Yuzawa in Niigata, less than a kilometre from the Yuzawa exit of the Kan-etsu Expressway. A single chairlift served two short runs between about 400 m and 440 m. It closed before snowboarding arrived. Nature has since reclaimed the slope, but the abandoned single lift still stands in the undergrowth.
