Tonami Yumenotaira Ski Ground trail map
Yumenotaira is a small ski hill in the Sendanyama hills on the east side of Tonami, with views over the Tonami Plain and its scattered farmhouses to the Tateyama range and, on clear days, the Sea of Japan. A single pair chairlift with a mid-station unloading point serves three runs: the 30-degree A course from the top, the B course with some moguls, and the gentle C course beside the lodge. Staff help riders on and off the lift, which makes it an easy place for beginners and local children to learn. The Cosmos-so lodge with rooms and meals stands beside the slope, which is also famous for its autumn cosmos flowers.
