Shoko Family Ski Area Closed

Shoko Family Ski Area was a ski hill in the former village of Asahi, now part of Tsuruoka in Yamagata Prefecture. It was opened by the Shonai bus operator Shonai Kotsu as part of its push into leisure businesses, and run by a subsidiary, Shoko Sakudo, set up in 1988. The ski area has since closed.
