Shirotori Ski Area Closed

Shirotori Ski Area was a small ski slope in the Futsukamachi district of Shirotori, now part of Gujo City in Gifu, and was never a member of the prefectural tourism federation. It had a single chairlift and has long since closed. The old slope is now a public park, Futsukamachi Ennen-no-mori Park, where the concrete base of the lift still stands. It is a different place from the nearby Takadaira ski area and from the ski areas operating in Shirotori today.
