Open 1983–2018
Oyasu Onsen Ski Area was a small hill beside Route 398 near the Oyasukyo hot-spring village in Minase, Yuzawa, also known by the name Tokotonyama. Opened in 1983, it had a 490 m pair lift and a beginners' rope tow serving five runs between about 340 m and 500 m, including a pitch of 36 degrees. Visitor numbers fell to little more than a thousand a season, and it closed after the 2017-18 winter. The lifts have been removed, and the base buildings now serve a year-round campsite.
