Mt. Magusadake

Mount Magusadake (1,424 m) is one of the volcanic peaks of the Kurikoma group, situated in Higashinaruse Village in southern Akita Prefecture within Kurikoma Quasi-National Park. Its name derives from "magusa" (horse fodder) and its summit ridge—linked to Mount Kurikoma by the Tenma Ridge route—commands views of Sukawa Pond, the Yakeishi Range and Mount Chokai.
