Nishi-Sendai Highland Ski Area was the ski slope of the Sendai Highland leisure complex (formerly Nishi-Sendai Highland) in Aoba-ku, Sendai, which also had an amusement park, golf course and racing circuit. It had the only halfpipe among Miyagi's ski areas and for a time ran an artificial slope usable outside winter, with a shuttle from Nishi-Sendai-Hairando Station on the Senzan Line. The ski area closed in 2002, the rest of the complex shut by 2016, and the site now hosts solar power plants.
