Jangle Jungle is a snow park on the north face of Mt. Mizunashi in Higashine, near Sekiyama Pass and the Miyagi border. Winter winds crossing Mt. Gassan bring heavy snowfall, and the slopes run on 100% natural, dry powder, facing the cliffs of Mt. Kurobushi. Two quads and a pair lift serve five runs, from wide beginner slopes to ungroomed zones, several terrain parks and a cross course. Children of primary-school age and under ride free every day, and night skiing runs every evening in midwinter. The season lasts from early December into late March; it is about an hour from Sendai-Miyagi IC, with a free shuttle from Sakurambo-Higashine Station.
