Listel Ski Fantasia trail map
Listel Ski Fantasia sits right in front of Hotel Listel Inawashiro, looking down over Lake Inawashiro. It is small, but its steep, bumpy Duffy course has hosted FIS Freestyle World Cup mogul events. Beginners get the gentle Royal Christie slope, and a longer run offers views of Mt. Bandai and the lake. There is a Snow Play Land for sledding and snow games, plus booked kids' lessons from age four. The hotel's hot spring and pool are open to day visitors too, and the hotel runs a shuttle from Inawashiro Station.

- Tokyo Station → Inawashiro Station Tohoku Shinkansen (change at Koriyama) and JR Ban'etsu West Line · 2 h 25 min · Shuttle departs Inawashiro Station at 9:15, 10:05, 11:00, 12:05, 14:05, 15:00, 16:05, 17:00 → Hotel free shuttle bus from Inawashiro Station (reservation by 17:00 the day before; cancelled if no reservations)
Bus
- Busta Shinjuku → Michi-no-Eki Inawashiro Aizu Bus (Yume Kaido Aizu) · About 4 h 10 min (dep. Shinjuku 7:10 → arr. Michi-no-Eki 11:22) · All seats reserved. You can also get off at Inawashiro Station and use the station shuttle. Skis and snowboards go in the luggage hold only when in a case (free) → Hotel's dedicated transfer (dep. 11:45; reserve by 17:00 the day before)
