Chikusa Kogen Ski Resort trail map
Chikusa Kogen sits between 900 and 1,125 m in Shiso City in western Hyogo, within easy day-trip reach of Kobe, Osaka and Okayama. Its north-east-facing slopes have snowmaking, and the runs range from the long, gentle Marchen course to the 31-degree top of the Panorama course and the bumpy Queen course. On selected evenings it stays open late as Yoru Chikusa, with park features to ride under the lights. There is a kids' park, and the ski school offers private lessons in English.
