Mount Komanoo (1,281 m) rises on the border of Nishiawakura (Okayama) and Shiso (Hyogo), forming part of the main ridge through eastern Okayama with neighbouring Ushiro-yama and Funaki-yama. Its grassy summit offers wide views, reaching Mount Daisen and the Seto Inland Sea on clear days. The trails connect with the Chugoku Nature Trail, and the peak is listed in the 100 Famous Mountains of Okayama and the 100 Mountains of Chugoku.
