Tenguiwa is a rocky 1,556 m peak of Kurodake in the eastern Kuju range, Oita Prefecture, within Aso-Kuju National Park. A route from Oike passes Sobabakke, the Fuketsu wind cave and Tengu-wakare. The summit consists of bare boulders, with careful scrambling needed just below the top.
