Mt. Nanakuradake

Nanakuradake is a 2,509 m mountain on the border of Toyama City and Ōmachi in the Northern Japan Alps, in the southern Ushiro-Tateyama range east of Lake Kurobe. Within Chūbu-Sangaku National Park, it has the lamp-lit Funakubo Hut—the last hut in the Alps still using an irori hearth and lamps—just below its summit. It is reached via the steep Nanakura ridge from Nanakura Onsen, and is among the "100 Famous Peaks of Nagano."
