A 1,298 m peak on the ridge that runs from Shiori Pass up to Echigo-Komagatake in Uonuma City, Niigata, lying within Echigo-Sanzan-Tadami Quasi-National Park. The summit is a short detour off the main path and forms a rocky belvedere with sweeping views along the ridge toward Echigo-Komagatake and down to Lake Okutadami. It is a popular waypoint on the long Shiori Pass route, the pass itself being famous for its early-morning "waterfall clouds".
