Mt. Kazakoshiyama is a 1,698.5-meter peak in Agematsu Town, Kiso District, Nagano Prefecture, lying on the Dokuhyō Ridge that extends westward from Mt. Hōkendake in the Kiso (Central Alps) Range. Together with Mt. Nagisodake and Mt. Itoseyama it forms the Kiso Sanzan, and its early-summer green slopes inspired the classical "Kazakoshi no Seiran" — one of the Eight Views of Kiso since the Edo period. The peak is featured in the Shinshū Furusato 120-zan list and is climbed via a 5.5-km route from the Shin-shio Hotel trailhead with ~660 m elevation gain; an observation point on Kayato-no-Oka, about 140 m southeast of the summit, gives a wide view of Mt. Kiso-Komagatake, Mt. Hōkendake, and Mt. Sannosawadake.
