Mount Ō (1,623.4 m) rises on the boundary between Fujikawaguchiko Town and Kōfu City in Yamanashi Prefecture, occupying the western half of the Misaka Range on the northern shore of Lake Saiko. The summit carries a second-class triangulation point and is celebrated as a front-row viewpoint of Mount Fuji rising above the Aokigahara primeval forest, with Lake Saiko shifting in colour below. The standard route climbs from the Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba village up the Sawa-gawa to Kagikake Pass, traversing the ridge west to the summit; the peak is often combined with neighbouring Mount Oni-ga-take. It is listed among both the Yamanashi 100 and the Kōfu Meizan.
