FUJIYAMA SNOW RESORT YETI trail map
FUJIYAMA SNOW RESORT YETI sits at the second station of Mount Fuji, between 1,300 and 1,450 m, and is known as the first outdoor ski area in Japan to open each season, using snowmaking to start in late October. Four runs fan out from the entrance at the top, led by the 1 km A slope; half the terrain is beginner level and moving walkways make it easy for first-timers and children. On clear days Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay are in view. There is a terrain park, a sledding slope and a snow play area, and night skiing runs late. Direct buses from the Tokyo area and the Gotemba interchange make it a popular day trip.
