Mt. Kenashi

Kenashiyama is a roughly 1,500 m peak on the ridge between Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Saiko in Fujikawaguchiko Town, Yamanashi, sitting at the southern end of the Misaka Range. The summit looks straight across to Mount Fuji's broad skirts above the Fuji Five Lakes, a vista that earned it a place on Yamanashi's 100 Selected Hiking Courses. The standard climb is a half-day round trip of about 3 hours from the Bunkadō Tunnel trailhead between the two lakes; the ridge continues west on a more demanding rocky traverse to Jūnigatake.
