Mount Mizuhiki-Nyūdō

A 1,656 m peak in Shiraishi City, Miyagi, at the southern end of the Zaō range within Zaō Quasi-National Park. It rises on a sub-ridge extending southwest from Mount Byōbu (1,825 m). The name ("water-mark ascetic") refers to a residual snow pattern said to resemble a mizuhiki cord when viewed from the Shiraishi side. The dedicated Mizuhiki-Nyūdō Course, accessed from Miyagi Zaō Shiraishi Ski Resort, is rated intermediate-to-advanced and is often combined with the Jamboree Course as a loop.
