Mount Fubō (1,705 m), also called Gozen-dake, is a steep pyramidal peak straddling Shiroishi and Shichikashuku in Miyagi Prefecture, forming the southern apex of the Zaō Range. The treeless summit gives expansive views along the southern Zaō ridge toward Mount Byōbu. A memorial monument on the trail honors the crew of a B-29 bomber that crashed here on March 10, 1945, and the slopes are noted for alpine flora including thyme, edelweiss, and Komakusa. The mountain lies within Zaō Quasi-National Park.
