Mount Mihira is a 1,009.9 m isolated peak on the border of Maniwa in Okayama and Kōfu in Tottori, set at the western edge of the Hiruzen Plateau within Daisen-Oki National Park. A well-maintained trail reaches its top in about 45 minutes, opening to a 360-degree panorama of the Hiruzen Three Peaks, Mount Daisen and Mount Karasu. Earthen embankments dating from when the Imperial Army pastured cavalry horses here still cross the slopes, and the mountain is listed in the Hundred Famous Mountains of the Chūgoku region.
