Daisen Mountain Resort trail map
Daisen Mountain Resort, formerly Daisen White Resort, spreads over the northwest slopes of Mt. Daisen, the highest peak in the Chugoku region, and is among the largest ski areas in western Japan by area and lift count. Four linked areas, Kokusai, Uenohara, Nakanohara (opened 1956) and Goenzan, look out over the Sea of Japan on clear days. About 300 m of vertical and runs up to 1.6 km offer everything from gentle beginner slopes to 30-degree pitches, plus a kids' snow area. After decades under the Nihon Kotsu group, the town took over the facilities in spring 2026 and a new operator relaunched it. The season runs from mid-December to late March, a short drive from Yonago IC.

- Yonago Expressway, Yonago IC (via Route 181 and Prefectural Road 45), 15 min
- Parking
- 1,500 spaces · 1,000 yen per car in winter (right below the slopes, about 1,500 cars)
Train
- Yonago Station JR San'in Main Line / Hakubi Line → Nihon Kotsu bus for Daisenji, about 50 min, get off at the Daisenji stop (winter delays or cancellations possible due to icy roads)
From the airport
- Yonago Kitaro Airport → Daisenji About 90 min (limousine bus, then route bus)
