Mount Kasagatake

A 2,246-metre peak straddling the boundary between Katashina Village and Numata City in Gunma Prefecture, set along the ridge linking Mount Okushirane and Mount Suzugatake within Nikkō National Park. There are no maintained trails to the summit; the peak is reached only by untracked variation routes through dense bamboo grass. It is included in Gunma's 300 Mountains and the 642 Peaks Over 2,000 Metres.
